The beautifully crafted guitar is shelled with East Indian Rosewood and topped with Redwood.
There are multiple types of each picture, as pictures with flash allow you to see the beautiful grain, and pictures without flash allow you to see the pristine finish.

 

East Indian Rosewood tonewood comes from the Himalyas to India, Lava Is. Indonesia,
Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. It was introduced to Burma, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Nigeria, and Kenya. The timber can be red to light brown with golden streaks and shades of purple brown. It is straight grain can have fine or course stripes.

East Indian Rosewood compares most closely to Brazilian Rosewood and is a fantastic tonal alternative. Deep, warm yet punchy, very piano-like. Powerful rich sound. Clean mid and treble. A good all-around player's choice. One of the more deeply resonating hardwoods.

Rare and beautiful, Redwood is tonally warm, rich and complex. Responds dynamically to a light touch. A phenomenal choice for fingerstyle. It is darker than Red Cedar with a reddish hue. From Northern California.
